Saturday's Critters #161

Saturday's Critters #161

Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.

Just an FYI, I accidentally deleted some of my comments on my last post, I meant to delete an anonymous comment. So if I have not visited your post that maybe why. I always try to return visits to everyone who comments on my post. Sorry!

These images are from our visit to the Circle B Bar Reserve on Nov 9th.

The Barred Owl seen as we started our walk.

Anhinga showing off it's pretty feathers.

The Limpkins are another common bird at the Circle B

Great Blue Heron another common bird seen at the Circle B

If we have any in our area, I've not had the pleasure of seeing one. I do, however, pay more attention to birds these days, in hopes of coming across some different ones. Love your photos, have a great weekend. P.S. Love the Fish Eagle! ♥

  55. How I love seeing all of these, and wish I was there to photograph them for myself. specially the Green Heron and the osprey!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Very nice photos. I'm partial to Limpkins. Not really much to look at, but their near-specificity to the Florida peninsula and reclusive habits made them, when I was a kid birder in NJ, one of my most sought-after species if I ever got to Florida. So here I am living here and I still feel the excitement when I get to even hear their wailing out in the wetlands.

  62. Oh my - such loveliness captured!

I could hear an owl during the night, when I was visiting my sister in Jefferson County, Florida. It was warm enough to sleep with the windows open. I could hear a soft "who who who."
