I am linking up with Mosaic Monday and Our World Tuesday
Happy November..Can you believe it is November already?
Sharing some scenes from around my yard and some images from the neighborhood..of course I always have to share some birds. Some are yardbirds and some are birds that are seen and heard in the woods next to our house.. I have a four season look at our weeping cherry tree and some scenes from the lake near the house and the Autumn colors.. I hope you enjoy!
Some yardbirds and neighborhood birds are the Carolina Wren, Golden-crowned Kinglet, American Robin, Dark-eyed Junco, House Finches and female Purple Finches.. They are seemed to be common birds seen now..
The Carolina Wren is a year round visitor in my yard.. It seems to love the wood piles my hubby has around the yard..
A seasonal look at our weeping cherry tree. It is a popular spot for my yardbirds, it is just a short hop over to the feeders hanging on our deck..
A cardinal on the feeder and the weeping cherry tree.
Just a short walk from our yard is the lake, we take many walks on the fireroads around the lake.. The falls colors were pretty around the lake and in the forest.. I hope you enjoyed my look around the yard and neighborhood..
A view of the lake from one of our recent walks..
As always I thank you in advance for stopping by and for the nice comments. Sorry, I am not able to send thank you emails for your comments, working full time, life and blogging takes up a lot of time lately.
I use Pic Monkey to create my mosaics, you can use Pic Monkey free or pay for an upgraded version.
I hope you can join in on our fun at Mosaic Monday and Our World Tuesday
Thanks to Judith our host of Mosaic Monday and to the hosting group of Our World Tuesday: Arija, Gattina, Lady Fi, Sylvia, Sandy and Jennifer. I wish everyone a happy week ahead!

I love juncos, but we don't see them very often. Nice shots! The lake is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful place, Eileen! The trees and birds are so plentiful and pretty. You still have a lot of autumn color there--many trees in our area are almost bare.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful stroll you took us today. Those lake photos are simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteHi There, Love seeing all of your birds. Our Carolina Wrens love to nest (try to nest) in our garage --not allowed... Then they went to a hanging basket I had on the front porch.... SO---my son gave me a cute little birdhouse which I put on the front porch. They LIKE it... Yeah!!!! ha
ReplyDeleteOur Juncos haven't come here yet. They will when it gets really cold and snowy for good...
Love the lake photos.
Hugs,
Betsy
Nice array of shots.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos !
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful yard, like the Carolina Wren.
ReplyDeleteYour weeping cherry is beautiful. I love the noisy little wrens...one was hopping around my porch the other day when we had a nice weather break and I was out there too. LOL that weather break is over!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have that lake close by and I don' think there is a prettier time to enjoy it than autumn. Just gorgeous.
Hi Eileen, You live in a gorgeous place! I am envious of your many bird sightings at your home and neighborhood now. I am only seeing just a few and they are flightily. It is cool windy and very dry here where I live in FL.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds, Eileen, and the lake is gorgeous too. You always capture the neatest wildlife photos.
ReplyDeleteYou have a chance to see so much around a nice lake like that. Beautiful photos! It was cold in our part of Florida last night too! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteCarolina Wren is quite rare here. Last year I had a pair on a local trail but I think they succumbed to the terrible winter and I have neither seen nor heard them this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if the juncos are back here yet and I wish the Carolina wrens would come to our backyard. I've seen them at the arboretum, sweet little birds.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful view of the lake and I like the sun streaming through the trees in one of the collage photos.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Eileen.
I love that little Carolina Wren.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful setting. Thanks for the tip about PicMonkey. I always wondered how you did your mosaics.
ReplyDeleteYour beauties made me weep like a cherry tree and that ain't bad!
